Risks relating to infectious hazards need to be managed as part of an organisation's overall risk management strategy.
In certain industries, infectious hazards rank highly among other hazards, and infection control policy, procedures and plans are required to manage the specific infections hazard/s.
OccuMED can assist with formulation of such a policy, and implementation of the procedures and plans, including staff vaccination programs.
These programs include:
- Pre-vaccination procedures relating to:
- provision of information to staff; and
- obtaining informed consent from staff.
- On-site vaccination of staff.
- Record keeping of staff vaccinations.
- Provision of a summary report to the organisation.
