Early Intervention Injury Management

The early and competent management and rehabilitation of acute work-related injuries are vital in giving employees the best chance of optimal recovery following injury – allowing individuals to return to work sooner and preventing chronic disability.

To give injured workers the best treatment possible, OccuMED employs a medical team comprised of occupational physicians and exercise physiologists to work with the injured worker, their family doctor, their employer, insurer and rehabilitation provider, to ensure optimal treatment and early return to full function.

Early intervention injury management also targets common work-related ailments such as back, shoulder and knee injuries, as well as repetitive strain injuries (RSI).
