Complex Specialist Medical Services
This is a consulting service provided by OccuMED’s specialist occupational physicians.
This service provides solutions to many complex health problems encountered within an organisation.
These may include:
- For an individual:
- An employee’s capacity to undertake their job safely and effectively following a health issue
- Managing an employee’s treatment and return to work after a workplace injury
- Independent medical assessments to offer a second opinion regarding liability following a worker’s compensation claim
- For a workplace;
- Formulating policies, procedures and implementing programs to manage health, safety and rehabilitation in the workplace
- Risk assessment, management and communication following a health incident or exposure affecting a group of employees
