The musculoskeletal and functional assessment provided by OccuMED comprises anatomic and functional components including tests for flexibility and strength in:
- Cervical, thoracic and lumbar region
- Upper limb
- Lower limb
- Manual handling ability
This assessment may be requested when an organisation requires additional information about a prospective employee's physical capacity to undertake the job being applied for.
OccuMED understands the importance of providing allied services such as musculoskeletal and function testing to complement the pre-placement medical assessment and its contribution in minimimising the likelihood of occurrence of musculoskeletal injuries or exacerbation of existing musculoskeletal injuries.
