What is the Centralised Booking Service?
This purely administrative service provided by OccuMED allows a recruiter to arrange for pre-placement medical examinations almost anywhere in Australia and New Zealand through OccuMED’s head office, with its network of third party providers.
OccuMED’s Centralised Booking Service administration staff will organise third party medical and allied health providers within its existing networks to undertake the assessments, liaise with the worker (where required), track and collate all the results before presenting it to the client. The fees are collated and on-charged to the client together with OccuMED’s booking fee in one invoice.

The result is less administrative load on the client whose HR staff no longer have to juggle appointment times and paperwork with medical centres and chase for medical results as well as an Accounts department who no longer needs to manage a large number vendors and vendor payments across the Australia and New Zealand.

Specialist Review (additional service on request only)
This is an additional medical review service. OccuMED’s Specialist Occupational Physicians can provide medical review of pre-placement medical results undertaken by third party providers through the Centralised Booking Service. The reviewing occupational physician will ensure the quality and consistency of the information obtained, and give specialist recommendations to allow the client to make informed recruitment decisions with confidence.
