Complementary Services to the Pre-placement Medical Assessment
These services complement the pre-placement medical assessment and are often sought by prospective employers to provide a more comprehensive assessment that takes into consideration factors including the job position and specific tasks. They include urine drug and alcohol screen, audiometry, spirometry, Mine Worker's Health Surveillance, musculoskeletal and functional test, cardiovascular fitness test, fatigue management questionnaire, ECG and various blood tests (e.g. lead level and arsenic, liver function, hepatitis), referral for Chest X Ray.
Onsite Services
OccuMED recognises the desire and importance placed by organisations in having their preferred medical providers perform onsite visits. In recognition of this, some of the on-site services currently on offer include on-site vaccinations, onsite worksite assessments as well as onsite health surveillance.
Other on-site services requests such as on-site pre-placement medical assessments and on-site random drug and alcohol screens may be considered on request.
