About Us
OccuMED was launched in 1996 by experienced occupational physician, Dr John Low.
The company started out as an in-house consulting service to a large national employer, overseeing all aspects of employee health requirements. This allowed the growing OccuMED team to understand the challenges facing employers in terms of employees’ fitness for work, and the varied injury prevention and injury management issues that apply to Australian workforces.
Our range of services has since grown to cater for the whole spectrum of workplace health needs. Today our experience and range of services, coupled with our proactive approach, make us uniquely positioned to assist our clients to manage the health of their workforce, in line with their operational and strategic objectives.
